Firefighting Sim Equipment: Hose, Axe & Mask

Match the tool to the unfinished objective.

QUICK ANSWER

Use the hose on burning areas, the axe to open blocked doors, and the mask for smoky entry while still watching heat and body indicators. Ladders, chainsaws and a K9 partner are officially described features; their exact controls and unlocks are not established by the reviewed captions.

Water hose: finish the spot you are spraying

Ricoko describes selecting the hose near the fire engine and having it connect automatically to the truck in that example. No separate manual coupling sequence is supplied. Use the spray action displayed for the hose in your own session.

Hold the stream on a burning surface. Ricoko describes a red target circle becoming blue when that area is put out; NoobBlox recommends focused spraying rather than waving the hose over the whole scene. Keep checking for remaining patches and rescue objectives.

If the hose seems ineffective, first check that you selected the hose and are targeting an area that is still burning. An exact maximum range, tank capacity or universal refilling sequence is not established here.

Fire axe: make a usable doorway

Both beginner guides describe using the fire axe to break into buildings. Select it, use its displayed action at the blocked door, and check that you can pass through the opening. The captions do not establish a universal hit count or an exact key for a heavy swing.

An open doorway is a route, not the finished rescue. Continue searching and keep the route back outside in mind.

Mask: prepare for smoke and keep watching your meters

The official description places masks in the smoke-entry feature set, and NoobBlox recommends a mask for smoky buildings. Ricoko's wording calls it heat reduction, but the public comments correct that to smoke. This guide uses the smoke purpose and does not claim heat immunity.

Watch the heat, smoke and body indicators even after equipping the mask. The creators describe leaving the danger area when the body/health drops and returning after recovery. They do not provide an exact safe exposure time or recovery formula.

Other officially described equipment

FeatureSupported scope
ChainsawThe developer lists chainsaws for forcible entry; NoobBlox describes cutting perimeter trees to limit bushfire spread.
LaddersThe developer describes placing ladders. Exact placement, climbing inputs and height limits need the current game prompt.
K9 partnerThe developer advertises searching burning buildings with a K9 partner. Commands, unlock price and availability are not established here.

Choose the unfinished job

Fire remaining: use the hose. Door blocking access: use the axe. Smoky entry: equip the mask and monitor your body. Victim still trapped: use the rescue sequence, rather than treating more spraying as the only solution.
