Firefighting Sim Beginner Guide
From the station to your first completed call.

QUICK ANSWER
Spawn an available fire engine at the station, attach to an active call, and travel to its location. Use the mask and hose for the scene, open blocked doors with the axe, carry trapped people outside, then check the call result before moving on.
Prepare at the station
Ricoko's October 8 beginner walkthrough starts at the vehicle spawner and recommends the fire engine because the hose connects to the truck. Begin with a vehicle your own spawner makes available; a model appearing in a guide does not prove it is unlocked on your account.
Read the active-call list before driving away. In Ricoko's PC example, Z attaches the player to a call and reveals its location. Keep the selected incident's address in mind when other calls appear.
Work the complete call
Spawn and drive an available engine
Use the station's vehicle spawner. Wait for the selected truck to appear in the garage, then enter it using the current interaction prompt. Check the vehicle controls before responding.
Attach to an active incident
On PC, press Z when the active-call interface offers attachment. Follow the location for the call you attached to. No active calls means there is no incident to attach to yet; the guides return to the station and wait.
Prepare for smoke and fire
Equip the mask before entering a smoky building. Keep watching the heat, smoke and body indicators: the mask does not remove every source of damage. Ricoko advises leaving the danger area when the body percentage falls and returning after it recovers.
Put water on a burning surface
Select the water hose and keep the spray on one burning area instead of sweeping across everything. Ricoko describes the target circle changing from red to blue as that area is put out. Check the rest of the scene; one extinguished spot is not the entire call.
Open the route and search
Use the fire axe for blocked doors. Ricoko prioritizes finding trapped people; NoobBlox first works the exterior fire before entering. These are different examples, not a universal optimal order. Keep your exit usable and read the current rescue objective.
Carry the victim outside
Use the victim interaction, move out through the open route, and release the victim outside as the guide describes. Do not assume that carrying someone alone has finished the rescue. Check the incident feedback and victim count.
Read the finished-call result
Check the result for the incident you worked: its completion, victims and performance feedback. The official First Alarm badge requires working your first call to the end. A completed scene and a personal XP award are separate things to check.
If the next step does not happen
| What you see | Next check |
|---|---|
| No active calls | Wait for an incident; do not drive to an old call marker. |
| You cannot find the scene | Check attachment and the selected incident's location. |
| The fire keeps growing | Hold the hose on a burning area and read remaining objectives. |
| Your body indicator is falling | Leave the danger area and watch recovery; do not rely on the mask alone. |
| Fire is out but the call is unfinished | Check for trapped victims or another remaining incident objective. |
Follow the narrated example
Ricoko explains the engine, Z attachment, hose indicator and rescue sequence. The written walkthrough works without loading YouTube.

Do I need a paid truck for my first call?
The beginner guide uses a fire engine from the station spawner. Choose the available vehicle on your account; this guide does not require buying a pass.
Is this a guaranteed solo rescue route?
No. Ricoko's narration says friends have already put out the fire while the player rescues someone. The example includes a crew and does not establish solo timing limits.
